Speaking of Poop
I think I just crapped on myself. Tonight I attended a “Smart Ways to Repay” session, sponsored by Sallie Mae. I figured it would be a good idea to at least find out how much I now owe in student loans, so I looked it up online.
Ouch. I don’t think I was really ready for that.

Any good tips? My loan is through Sallie Mae, too, and I feel like I’ll never get it paid off. I won’t even tell you how much mine is. It’s scary.

Sallie Mae offers loan consolidations that are most often worth doing since you may be able to attain lower rates and stretch out the term of the loan. Thus you can take advantage of the cheap financing longer and put money to work earning something in the markets.
