Is This Thing On?
For several months now, no one has posted a single comment on my website. When I first realized this a few weeks ago, I was a little annoyed. Then I blamed myself. I figured it was just a result of my inconsistent posting. Based on my webstats, I knew people were still visiting. I just figured my posts had become so boring that no even wanted to bother commenting. Then over-thinking the situation, I thought my blog might have become like a new message board, where no one wanted to break the silence. Even when I posted my engagement news, not a single person posted a comment.
Not once did it occur to me that maybe I had accidently changed a Blogger setting. Man, I am dense sometimes.
Today, two different people told me that they had recently posted messages. Confused over the fact that I a.) hadn’t received any notification emails, b.) nor seen any of these new comments, I logged in to see what was wrong.
Sure enough, I had turned on moderation. This means no comments went live until I reviewed them.
For the record, I make my living doing this stuff. Go figure.
Anyway, I have now read everyone’s comments. Thank you. I’ve also turned off moderation, in the event anyone else wants to leave a message.

Glad you got things fixed…I was starting to feel a little confused and unloved, too. lol
