This morning Heidi and I welcomed Jocelyn Elizabeth Gomez. Born at 8:12 am and weighing in at 8 lbs and 11 oz, she looks just like her big brother Jacob. Mama and baby are doing great. Dad is a mess.

It is official. We were asked to evacuate. I am going to leave the webcam on. It should work until the power goes out. If the power does go out, I don’t have a way to reactivate remotely (so don’t get overly concerned.)

Update: 08/28/11 We stayed with Aunt Jackie. Her power went out about [...]

Today Heidi, Jacob and I attended East Bend’s God and Country Celebration (aka 4th of July parade.) This was the 1st time Heidi had ever been and it was the 1st time I had been in 10+ years. We saw a ton of people who I hadn’t seen in years.
