Leaving Work Early
While I’ve written about this countless times, I feel like I have to do it again. There are several things I won’t miss when I am finished with school. (BTW, I will finish summer classes next week. Then I only have 1 semester left!) I will not miss leaving work early. I HATE leaving work early. Yes, I know. It is pathetic, but I do. Since there’s not but one of me, I know there’s no humanly way possible I can get the things done that I would if I had an entire department working under me. Still, I feel that everyone is looking at me when I leave 30 mins early. And I feel this is in the back of everyone’s mind if something Internet related doesn’t get done. I hate it!
I will also not miss my Sunday night freakouts. These occur around dinner time on Sunday’s when I start adding up all the things I need to do before I go to bed. Then I know if I don’t go to bed at a reasonable hour that I will be tired and it will make the already difficult week just that much harder.
I will not miss having every minute of my life planned months in advance.
This list could go on for a very long time.
