My Graduation
I graduated this week. Though I finished classes six months ago, it was a very nice closure to the whole process. I am so happy to be done. My mom came for the festivities and brought a couple of family friends. Wednesday was the smaller ceremony for the graduate school of business. Heidi took off work and brought my mom and the family friends to the Theater at Madison Square Garden. Steve Forbes spoke. That evening they NYU threw a “Grad Alley” party down on campus, complete with games, music and food. It was sorta like a street fair for the graduates and their families. Then on Thursday, 15,000 graduates gathered a Washington Square Park for commencement. I am so happy to be done.
