Floppy Disks
Similar to my CD Situation, I probably have a few hundred floppy disks that I also want to get rid of. I realize these are 100% worthless to anyone, so I am not getting any money out of them. I want to throw them all out, but I kinda want to see what’s on them first. (Yes, I know, if I haven’t used the data in this many years, I should do without. Again, I openly admit that I am a pack rat.) There’s a slight chance that I saved an award-winning essay, poem or something and I hate for the trash collector to benefit from that. Since I don’t even have a computer with a floppy drive, I bought an external USB floppy drive thru Amazon just so that I can even go thru them.
After going thru all the disks, would you then destroy them? If so, how?
