How Quickly I Forget
I am in class on a Sunday. Yes, it sucks. Fortunately, I finally got a wireless card for my iBook this week, so I am very excited that I may actually be able to connect to the Internet - without wires! I make it thru the morning’s classes and then at lunch time, I run to HelpDesk to get my Mac configured. (Of course, Stern won’t let you do this on your own.) What happens? They look at me as if I have the plague. “Oh, you have a Mac.” (sigh.)
This is why I gave up on Macs - any time I told people that I had a Mac, they treated me as if I had some terminal illness. Anywho, a couple of friendly faces finally agreed to help me and now I love my Mac again. Thank you HelpDesk and thank you Steve Jobs. Now, must get lunch in 3 mins and run back to class.
