Went Home for a Few Hours
I’m at the airport right now, headed to D.C. and on to San Francisco. I’ll be in the Bay Area for the rest of the week for a tour of various Silicon Valley technology companies. (Companies like HP, BEA, Oracle, Apple, Konami, EA, Visa, and Intel.) I feel sorta like a college student. I had to go thru my closet and make sure I had enough business casual clothes for the trip. Man, I never realized I dressed like such a slob.
The wedding went fine. I congratulated the little sis again before she left for the honeymoon. She replied, “I can get you a good deal on a ring.” Sometimes I feel like I am the only person on Earth not totally obsessed with procreation. That aside, it was a really great trip. Heidi’s family made me feel quite welcome.
Jaesan plans to pack his stuff this week while I am gone. He leaves next week. Very sad.
Props goes to the one very nice TSA agent this morning. (He even sang for the crowd waiting in line.) FU to another little old lady who thinks it is ok to bring bags on board that are too heavy for her to lift.
