Creepy Invite
This morning, as I was going thru the mail, I opened very nice invitation from the St. Michael’s Cemetery. ” A religious cemetery open to people of all faiths, St. Michael’s offers a full range of options, which will include our beautiful St. Francis Mausoleum extension.” Apparently, if I act now, I can take advantage of their $1,000 Pre-Development Discount on a Companion Crypt in their St. Francis Mausoleum Extension. Yes, in the long-run, the “Beauty, Dignity and Security” may help ensure peace of mind for me and my family, but in the short run, I find it creepy that the invitation was addressed specifically to me, instead of the “occupant of…” Do they know something I don’t?
