Day 26: Doctor Visit
We’ve been on the road for 26 days now and today was the first visit to the doctor. Not bad considering we’ve been over 6,500 miles, eh? My mom’s ear has really been bothering her, so today I made her go to the doctor in SeaTac. He prescribed some drops and we were on our way. She says it already feels much better.
That said, we got sort of a late start today. We only made it to Spokan, WA. And, sadly, today is the first day that I didn’t take any photos. There were some great mountains and canyons, but unfortunately there was nowhere to pull off safely and then when we finally switched drivers I fell asleep. I guess lack of sleep finally caught up with me. I apologize to all my faithful readers.
However, please stay tuned. We have a long drive tomorrow. Assuming the road is open, tomorrow we’re supposed to take one of the most scenic drives in the entire world. We’re planning to take “Going To The Sun Rd.” through Glacier National Park. The road is closed during the winter, so I am not 100% sure it will be open yet, but if ti is, I plan to get some really great photos!
