Day 32: Tired. Short Update Tonight
I am getting pretty tired. Result: short update tonight. This morning we drove through the Badlands National Park. Erosion has created these magnificent rock formations. Similar to the Painted Desert, all the different colors are a result of various minerals. As clouds alter the sunlight, the rocks appear to change color. Pretty trippy.
After the Badlands, we drove about 350 miles on back roads through Nebraska - saw lots of cows and cornfields. We stopped a few times, but the only notable stop was at Rosebud Indian Casino. I wanted to stop so I could see what an indian casino looked like. Basically, it looked the same as those in AC and Vegas, just a lot smaller. Don’t get excited, Danny. We only stayed a few minutes. However, this old geezer did sit down beside my mom. He spoke to her and seemed very interested. She didn’t pay him any mind. Then we left.
Tonight we’re in Omaha, NE. I an getting a little irritable. I think I need a little more rest.
