I also just found a list I made of schools that I would consider going to - complete with what major I would choose. Here were my top 7 perspective majors, listed in order.
1. Advertising
2. Audio Engineering
3. Broadcasting
4. Communications
5. Music (voice)
6. Music Business
7. Radio & Television Studies
How would my life had been different if I had chosen another?

Aside from vocal performance, these all kind of fall under Communications. Bet you could have ended up where you are at with almost any of those majors!
I don’t see BMX biker or basketball player on that list.
