Another Old Friend
I am on a roll when it comes to finding lost friends and family. A high school friend, Melissa, asked her husband to look in an Air Force directory for another kid we grew up with. When I last spoke with Matt, he was stationed in Arizona. He invited me to come out and visit, but at the time I already had plans for all my vacation days. When I got laid off, I was really excited because we were planning to drive thru Arizona. I tried to get his number from a mutual friend. Though the friend said he’d spoken to Matt in December, he didn’t have his phone number. Anyway, thanks to Melissa’s hubby, I got his email address and after playing phone tag for a few days, we finally got to catch up Saturday afternoon. Since I last spoke with him, he lived Korea for a year and now lives in South Carolina.
