When Did Business School Become Fun?
I’ve been feeling rather creative over the past few days and honestly, quite proud of myself as a result.
First, for the final project in my Monday night class, we have to develop a web-based application with database integration. Per my recommendation, my group has agreed to create an online directory with personalized profiles, which I hope to be able to use for my upcoming 10-yr class reunion.
Today, I finally started building my Halloween costume. I’ve been assembling pieces for several weeks now. So far, it has come together much better than I expected. Really. It looks great! Now I just have to paint it. I am afraid I may need help on this part. I hate to mess up the finishing touches.
Tonight I convinced my group from another one of my classes to change our final project. (It wasn’t a really big since we still hadn’t started.) Without boring you with details, we have to create a proposal/treatment for cross-collateralization in the entertainment industry (e.g. create a Broadway show from a movie or something like that.) I would like to use this as an opportunity to flesh out some of my ideas for an amusement park. I am really excited!
With all these creative juices flowing, I’ve even been playing with an idea for the music business. I don’t really have time to formalize the proposal at the moment, but I’m also kinda excited about my idea.
Yes, I’m a dork. Hopefully one day I will be a successful dork.
