Podcasts
Blogger-peeps, have any of you guys been checking out any podcasts? If you believe the hype, supposedly podcasting is the next big thing. Ipodder.org has a technical description of “What is podcasting,” but I would describe it as where blogging meets Internet radio. Basically, podcasters record themselves spouting off about whatever is on their mind. Their podcasts can focus on a particular subject like music or they can take more of a stream of consciousness form. Podcast.net currently has the most well-known directory of podcasts. So far, I’ve been rather unimpressed with the ones I’ve heard thus far, but I see the potential. Admittedly, there have been times I wish I had a live recording of a conversation, instead of needing to rehash what was said on my blog.
