My Home Telephone
Welcome to the new millennium. I just called and cancelled service on my home phone. I only had it in the event of an emergency and my mom’s the only one who really called that number anyway. Actually, I would have continued to pay the outrageously high $50+/month, but something happened and I haven’t had a dial tone for more than a week now. After unsuccessfully trying to request a repair, I figured that I’d rather just cancel the service than have to take day off work for them to come and fix it. I considered VOIP, but why bother? Do I really need a work phone, a home phone, and a cell phone. From now on, if you need to reach me. Please call my cell.
