Out of School

I love being out of school. I’ve been out almost every night for the past 3 weeks. While everyone else’s summer is drawing to an end, I feel like mine is just starting. Yesterday Heidi and I went to a picnic in Westchester. Today we went rollerblading and to the beach. I haven’t been rollerblading in more than a year! Man, I can’t wait until I’m done with school - this is so great.
Yesterday’s picnic was quite nice. Sherika and Jose had us over to their new place. Nicole, Jack and Jessica rode with us. Jack and I even took our guitars for entertainment. I kinda chuckled to myself when I realized we were all in our mid-20’s to early-30’s and we were are still acting like teenagers. A few have paired off and gotten married, but no one’s really started having kids. Very metropolitan, I guess.
I spoke to Jaesan for a few minutes Friday night via the iSight. He leaves for London in a couple of weeks. He’s very excited about what’s to come and he’s asked that I come visit. Honestly, I don’t see the appeal in London - it is like New York, but wetter and more expensive. However, since my bud is there for a year, I feel like I should go. Still, school’s got me under wraps until the end of the year.
BTW, does anyone else use AudioScrobbler/Last.fm? If you want to learn more, check out my profile. (I’ve listened to more than 10,000 tracks since February.)
