Karaoke Bday Recap

The party was a huge success! What was originally scheduled as a 3 hour event, turned into a 6 hour affair with between 60 and 70 folks. (Not bad considering I didn’t invite anyone until the Monday before - only 5 days earlier!) Highlights included a completely choreographed version of “Fame” by a friend of Jason Drill’s, “Islands in the Stream” by Sandi, Edith and company, “It Takes Two” by Danny Ferrauiola and countless Johnny Cash tunes by Greg.
Special props go out to Randy who was so NBB (nuthin but business) that he came prepared by bringing his own playlist, complete with song numbers from Karaoke 17’s book.
Unfortunately, the battery on my camera died, so I don’t have picts of everyone. Drill and Julia let me use their camera so hopefully I’ll be able to post a bunch more in a few days.

Believe it or not, this was posted on your birthday, and it took this long to get to you because of my slow a-s laptop. Ok, I forgot, but happy belated b-day to you either way. Lucky for you, unlike me, you have one more full year to go before the big 20-10. I got mine coming up next month, and I plan to celebrate by working the entire daylight portion of the day and coming home to an empty house because the wife will be at a rehersal dinner for her friends next day wedding. I think I may put a candle on a hostess cupcake to celebrate though. Looked like your party was a blast, and your underwriters made me laugh so hard I had to clean the spit off the screen before I read the rest. Have a fantastic 29th year!
