Wedding Day
Today is the big day. The wedding is to take place at 5:30, here in front of the lighthouse. It is raining pretty hard right now, but the forecast says that it should clear up. If it doesn’t, we’ll probably have the ceremony inside.
All the guests started to arrive yesterday and so we checked them into their respective houses. The houses are much nicer than we expected - lots of space and plenty of bathrooms. Everyone’s been zooming around in their golf carts. Last night we took everyone to dinner at Marshside Mama’s. It is a complete dive on the other side of the island. We had full caravan of golf carts that went over. We had gumbo and dish after dish of stuff that I would have never imagined that I would like, but it was all fantastic. There was even a band! I was a little disappointed with Danny. A bachelorette party sat down right beside him and all the sudden he lost his voice???
Need to go spend some time with the guests.
