The wedding was fantastic! I spent most of the day entertaining my mom, Heidi’s grandmother and Heidi’s aunt. We drove around Daufuskie Island on our golf cart. (Cars are not allowed on most parts of the island.) The weather cleared up nicely so we were able to have the ceremony in front of the lighthouse [...] Today is the big day. The wedding is to take place at 5:30, here in front of the lighthouse. It is raining pretty hard right now, but the forecast says that it should clear up. If it doesn’t, we’ll probably have the ceremony inside. All the guests started to arrive yesterday and so we checked [...] Heidi and I went to Annie and Buji’s wedding over the weekend in Washington DC. Since we didn’t leave at 7 AM as originally planned, we spent most of the day sitting in traffic. The 4-5 hr drive took us 7-8 hrs. Oh well, a small price to pay I guess for a friend’s [...] |
